I was researching possible names at Fabulous and I accidently bought five domains I do not want. Fab has told me their policy is to not do refunds. I realized within miutes what happened and emailed them right away. I was told they would send my request to a supervisor. I haven;t heard anything yet...and I'm guess that is because it is a weekend.

Anyone ever have this happen?

I've ended up buying names I never intended on purchasing... just had them in my cart along with other domains and they slipped through the cracks.

Dynadot does give back credit, so all was well. Fabulous? Not so sure...

Before they get back to you (and assuming they will on Monday) ... what are the five domains? :gl:

My wife does recipe domains and these were some that came up with their research tools. Never intended to purchase them. The only one I thought about keep was the pork.com name.

does fabulous have grace/redemption period?

Thats why Godaddy is a nice registrar. You can get them on the phone within moments and have everything fixed and the money refunded.

They don't. I realized my screw up right away. I used their 'contact us' link and then emailed. Within less than 10 minutes after making the mistake.

I hope they'll fix the problem. I've never had any problems with them in the past. And as far as GoDaddy is concerned, I've used them before and I have a few domains with them now. I just find Fabulous much better overall than GoDaddy.

Nothing beats on the spot customer support. (AND someone who speaks fluent english). Thats so important to me - Customer Service.

I would say I have gotten go customer service from all I've registered with. I have domains with 1and1, GoDaddy, Fabulous and others. I perfer Fab.

Anyways...I still have these five domains. No horrible but I still wish I didn't mistakenly register them like I did...

nice to know they solved this :)

i dont have any name at fabulous but i heard good things about them... i prefer moniker but as many people have names at godaddy i needed an account there; i have never had problems with them and their customer service has been great so far
