I don't think it is generic. If I'm not mistaken, the new Apple PowerBooks are called MacBook Pro... I think I read about it in MacNN..

If Apple lets you keeo this one, then I am sure it will get a lot of traffic as the macbook pro sales increase.
assuming you do not have trouble with TMs, this is a superb name.
