I feel very excited to see this sentence at DNJournal:

IMO, its long due that DN Journal gives this notion of .TV being synonymous with online entertainment while also stating the fact that .TV initially came from Tuvalu. The fact that .TV extension was bought out of Tuvalu long time ago supports this notion.

gamehouse, I have been wandering that myself as I have never even heard of the island Tuvalu or ever associated it with it's extension. The first time I saw .tv I thought "oh tv on the net finally!"

No no, I know of the island but that was only after the fact when I was learning what each country code meant. Anyone in the mainstream of things though I think if you mention Tuvulu they will probably think some island near hawaii or just go "huh"
