Good domain!

I do not have a line on the value of .fashion domains. If Sedo said it was worth that, it's got to be close.

If you could find a fashion designer intrested in it you could certainly get into that price area (if not more).

You might have to market this domain. Your biggest hurtle is it not being a .com. Some companies may not see past this. Some companies might see way past it and see the potential.

Very nice name! The only better alternative would be luxury.fashion, but luxurious is also very nice.

What is nice too is that it seems that this name is for low, standard .fashion renewal, which brings a lot to its value.

What SEDO says about its value does no matter at all - I can literally show hundreds of examples where its engines makes pretty bad estimates - it improves by time, but it will take lot of improvement to take it in more serious consideration imo.

So great name. What might be a problem is fashion industry and fashion people themselves - many domainers will probably confirm that these kind of people are probably one of worst domain end users - they like fashion, parties, etc, they are not technical and if you start with SEO, optimization, etc in your sale pitch - good bye, no interest

I would value name for 2k-5k in 2017 for serious end user. Much more, if you can hold it for next 5-10 years.

 

I agree with lolwarrior. Luxury would be worth more. Luxury always grabs more attention. Luxurious.fashion does roll better IMO but luxury is king and that's how it is.

I also did forget to mention the time factor. Who knows though. Now might be the time? "They" say gTLD's will take time to age correctly.

I have had decent luck in the past with Sedo's appraisals but that has been with .com domains. They seem to be thorough and some what accurate.

In the end, a domain name is only worth what someone will pay for it.

 

You can buy the .com right now for $688.

If you manage to get any offer for more than you paid for it, take it. Doesn't seem to be much of a market for this extension.

Why would an end user pay $5,000 when they can get the .com for $688? They wouldn't.

Don't see any reported sales this year at namebio, last one reported was nyc.fashion for $750

 

I would not be surprised at all if Luxurious.Fashion sell at 2k-5k, and LuxuriousFashion.com will not sell for 688 (but at least they can call it then "aged" domain)

You'll see a pig fly before that happens imho. Luxury for me all the way, luxurious is probably misspelled an awful lot and I don't envisage a brand choosing luxurious over luxury as a kw choice. Luxurious.com is parked and listed for sale.

Reg fee for me.
