I own this domain, I've been contemplating selling for a year or so, though "official" appraisals and offers have been wildly divergent. I've received offers in the lower mid $xx,xxx range for the domain. I've run my business from it for more than 10 years, but have other domains that cover me there, and the vast majority of my business is referral in any case.

I've hung the domain on sedo on again and off again, without a lot of "real" interest (lots of allowance money offers, though. ;) ).

Thank you for your time and thoughts.

You have a great domain that is potentially worth well into 6 figures to the right end-user buyer -- be patient on a sale if you can. The domain markets particularly well to a Spanish audience, which is in great demand for many companies.

I went to your site and noticed it's your last name. I'd never be able to sell.

LOS is a common scientific term - "Line of Sight"

So it is a great name for LOS equipment manufacturers

'los' is also spanish for 'the', and thats an amazing keyword

75-100k for this one

but if I were you, I would hold on another year on this one...the Spanish market has been increasing at a great pace and in another year should mature even more

Thanks for the insight, folks. Thinking of taking an offer of $60K.

They will be getting a great price at 60. wish I was brave enough to spend that kind of green on a name I think that's low for Los.com

Best to ya!

Unless you really need the money for something important I would recommend holding this one for a while longer and you can easily get 6 figures for this domain :imho: . Good luck with the sale!

it's your last name and lll.com, your website looks so good with this domain, I would never sell it ... (or only for something like $1M )

I agree with most of the appraisals given. Though it will probably piss off the guy who offered 60k, I believe you will be surprisingly happy if you wait for a little while before selling. This could fetch more than you probably realize. If you need money now, however, that is entirely different. NEEDING to sell a domain puts you at a disadvantage and transfers power to the buyer.

Good luck and nice name!

It's not so much "needing" money as there are other time-critical opportunities I could use the money for--it's weighing the advantages/disadvantages of those against waiting for a more lucrative sale. I agree that the domain seems like it should be worth more than $60K (I might be biased, you think?) but don't currently have the time (and wouldn't really have a marketing plan) to try and find a buyer to whom the domain might be worth "retail."

It is my last name, but I own my full name as well (which is what I have used for business cards, email, etc. for a couple of years now) so it wouldn't be the end of the world.
