General Requirements : The site is about selling loose leaf tea online. I would like to have a symbol that is relevant to tea. I would also like to have the words "Loose Leaf Tea Time" included in the logo

@lulian M There are tweaks in the design of the teapot to make it original.. If you compare it to the one you have posted it is different

The plan is to tweak the logo to make it so that is more original then what you guys see. The pot is different and the steam is different... If you have other input to make it different so that it doesn't interfere with copyright issues please give your opinion

OMG! Even if is "somehow" different, you cannot use it. It is stolen artwork. If Ahmad, the real designer of this logo sues you, you will pay him big money.
If you like that logo so much, give up with this contest, get in touch with Ahmad and buy it directly from him. It is simple.
And by the way, Normax has been caught with two other stolen artworks on other contest, so...

I didn't want to express my opinion because I participated in this contest. It is unbelievable what is happening, how cand you choose a stolen logo? Normax is an ordinary thief, he steals logos at every contest, he just got caught stealing at another contest, but there the CH understood the situation, and didn't accept his entries. Anyway, why should we even bother to think and to waste our time create something original, if it is OK to steal and to win? I feel sad and disgusted.

You picked a stolen logo and then arranged for the stolen property to be changed once you were caught.

You should be banned from holding another contest at namepros.

@Eric Lyon, we need some adjudication here.

@Normax has been revealed as a design thief on multiple occasions. He should be banned from participating in any more design contests.

@Michael12 has picked a stolen logo and then colluded wth the thief to change two elements, rather than disqualifying @Normax and picking a legitimate design. @Michael12 should also be banned from holding any more design contests.

I am sorry I am newer to this forum I have had my account for a while but rarely use it.. I apologize if I have caused any issues in the community I have changed the design enough so that it is original. I told him from the beginning that I liked the design but do to the issue it needed to be tweaked so that it was an original version. That being said, it is now original and done.

The problem is that you chose a stolen design and when that was pointed out to you, instead of disqualifying @Normax and choosing a legitimate design, you colluded with him to alter the stolen design to your liking.

If you don't see the problem with this, then don't worry. Because everyone else who reads this thread will see the problem.

@Normax was advised to not participate in anymore contests after the last incident that happened and it appears they disregarded staffs request. At this time the members account has been restricted from the marketplace for security reasons.

@Michael12 - You have 2 options: 1) You can cancel the transaction with @Normax and start a new contest, or 2) you can select another designer as the winner and request that they make a few revisions to their design for you.

@Eric Lyon thanks for clearing things up. I am going to cancel the contest and start a new one. Im going to put a bit more thought in to the design/description so that we do not have these issues. Sorry for the issues.
