Looking to buy a GoDaddy Gift Card

Hope this is the right place to post this.
I need a member to give me a $20 gift card
and for this I will send via PayPal $21.
If doing this is not allowed then a mod can
delete this thread (but I did try to find out
about this).

They don't accept PayPal without it being backed by credit card.
Personally I don't like credit cards and I don't want to do another
bank wire transfer (too expensive). I've been through all this with
them before and have ranted about it at this forum. I like GoDaddy
very much except for this one point, which is why I've moved many
domains to Dynadot where they accept PayPal without a credit card.
My PayPal is even bank verified and for GoDaddy this is not good enough.
Good explanation?

One option to using paypal is to purchase visa gift cards, they seem to be carried mostly in grocery stores/drug stores. You have to pay a couple extra bucks, but you aren't putting your bank account or actual credit card (if any) at exposure. Worst case you are out 25-100 bucks, whatever the card price. You can use these at godaddy or pretty much any online merchant.

I like the visa cards, had some problems with the master card equivalents due to the numbering structure being different than their issued cards. Takes about a half hour to an hour to clear (for card registration purposes) from the time of purchase.

Works fine at godaddy.

Thanks shaper. I'll look for that although I'm not sure I'll find
it where I'm at (in Atlantic Canada). Apparently those were
only first introduced to Canada in Nov. 2005 in Vancouver. I
know the banks I tried carried nothing like that. I'll check the
stores like you said.
