Looking for Someone to Share Dedicated Server

I am looking to pick up another dedicated server and I am looking for someone who is looking for the same to share the costs 50/50. I have been searching WHT for a d-server and have found some good deals, I figure the total cost of the server will be about $150-$170 so around $75-85 each a month. I have plenty of experience running servers so if you have none then you have nothing to worry about. Once we agree on the server package, you will send your half of the payment through Paypal to me and I will pay the bill and send you a copy of the payment. It also might be posible to split the bill at the hosters end..either way.

You must be able to afford your monthly payment and be responsible in your use of the server. All the common sense rules are in effect, no illegal stuff, no resource draining stuff and so on.

It's really not the best idea to share a server. In your situation you may profit from a VPS. Sharing a dedicated server gives you no guaranteed cpu or ram allowment. For example, the person you are sharing it with may constantly abuse it, hosts proxy, or worst case, illegal files. Your server could have very poor performance or be shut down by the DC (illegal files).

I put that into consideration, there is nothing wrong with sharing a server as long as both parties are responsible. This particular server has more than enough for two people to use comfortably. Thanks for the info though.
