And you've been in business 3 weeks with what looks like a VPS at ServInt. None of those specs match their systems other than dual-quad cores. They don't use 15k RPM drives and the 1GB ports are shared between all of the instances on the server. Be careful with advertising fluff because some people will know better :P
Also a note: Enterprise is spelled Enterprise not Enterprice. Check your website's spelling it kills professionalism.
Hi,
Please refer to this page regarding the specs:
ServInt VPS Features and Upgrades
Yes, I am on a VPS account at ServInt, like many start-up hosts out there. Yes, this current business is only 3 weeks old, but before you go out bashing my credibility, please know that I have been in the web hosting business for over 6 years and that I have owned a hosting company in the past but had to sell it off in order to pursue my studies in dentistry. The hosting company was called FX-HOST and it ran in between 2004-2006 before I had sold it off to continue my studies. I was running three dedicated servers at the time of the takeover. I realize you do have reason to speculate, and I apologize for the spelling mistake on the website, it was my coder who had made the mistake but it was my fault for not double checking the result. We could all agree that one mistake on the front page, does not destroy one's credibility but I agree that it looks unprofessional and thanks for pointing it out. The error was fixed, I believe, on the same day of my post. And trust me, normally when I see posts on WHT or other forums regarding sketchy practices by overnight hosts I warn people and make myself heard. To have accused against me unjustified by a respected hosting company is alarming to me and I am taken aback by it. No, this is not my primary source of money. I am a full time student in dental school, and had been designing websites for over 5 years. After I sold off my hosting company, I relied on reseller accounts to host my sites, and I was tired of paying other people so I decided to host them under my own VPS account and customer suggestions and a feeling of nostalgia basically pushed me to venture into web hosting once more.
If I was a kiddy host, hosting on a reseller account at god knows where. I would have taken the comment and moved on. But since I'm in here for the long run, and no I'm not looking to base my livelihood on this so I am okay with a small margin of profit, that is why my prices are rather low, I am a bit offended by the comment. But like I said, thank you for pointing things out, and thanks for being on the lookout for other potential customers, you just kind of chose the wrong host to warn them about. All in all, I just wanted to make my point heard, I am in no way discrediting your comment, I just want to make sure others know that I am not a runaway host and that their trust is paramount to the running of HostDogtor. This post was probably unnecessarily long, but I just wanted to make my points heard.
Have a nice day to you all and sorry to those people other than ServerOrigin who just wasted their time reading this essay of a reply.

You also might want to fix that small mistake in the disk space, just returning the favor. Also I would like to point out that the servers that the accounts are hosted on, are in fact on gigabit lines. Whether the account will be able to pull that much constantly or at all is out of the question, and it is under a shared environment. But the server itself is on a 1000mbps port, hopefully people paying under $15/month for hosting will realize that you will not be able to drain out a server's resources, just like people under $15/mont should not be able to expect to be able to use up 250 GB of space and 2500 GB of bandwidth. Overselling is a practice that many hosts use that I don't particularly condone. But who am I to judge really, but people should know better if they were to expect such resources from a $12.95 account provided a reasonable profit margin in your case.
