Looking for an Audio Editing program.

Hello,

Could anyone direct me toward a program that will let me take an MP3 file and chop off parts of it so that I can make a new MP3 file that's only 1-minute long? I'm working on a site for a band, and I just want to post up 1-minute samples of some of their songs, you know? But I'm not sure of what software is good for doing this seemingly simple task.

I know this is like my third help topic in the last few days, but, they're important, lol.
