Ah, I had a bit of spare time, and, even though there is no payment, I thought I might as well have a go (be worth my portfolio for my logo company when I start up).

H&R Web Design Logo - 250 x 110 PX (watermarked, entry #1):

All made in vector. If you choose it, you'll get it in .jpg, .gif and .fla formats.

I'd rather there be pay too, Danny A lot of the decent designers will think the same, as you say. It just so happened Ihad a bit of spare time, but, heck. Lol.

The fact that he seems to be not answering are questions makes alot of good designers Me, PolurNET, OurPortfolio, Will 7. Some very respectable designers are majorly turned off.. So please if you want a good logo please post a price and more infomation.. And answer the question why you won't design you own.

PolurNET I ran into the same deal. I designed a logo for a web design company. They had their site hosted on a free hosting service. It is ironic lol. If your a web design company (like me) I think you should be able to design your own logo lol.

Some web design companies specilise in different things.. Some can't design there own and some don't have the time.. There are many reasons why web design companies get others to make there logos.. But there is no excuse for not answering the questions.

I'm just gonna give up on this thread. I take the time to make him a logo for free and then he doesn't have the decency to even reply! This is a guy that I really do not want to be doing business with!

That's how I felt right from his first post -- and it only got worse with every post he made!

I was nervous about it also, as I said in this post.

This logo competition also seems somewhat of a joke. No payment, no info about the logo, always uses capitals etc. Just screams "amateur" to me!

Ah well, it just proves, you give people the benefit of the doubt and, they don't appreciate it. Well, not any more!
