Logo needed - $30 prize

Hi all,
I need a logo for a charity scheme called F_a_i_r D_e_a_l (without the _), basically it is similar in nature to Fair Trade and ensures that suppliers are paid a fair price for raw materials etc.

The prize is $30 which I will pay via pay pal.
I need delivery in vector format, preferablly Adobe Illustrator.

(SVG stands for "Scalable Vector Graphics")
programs to open it and change the size and edit it are, Namo Web Canvas, InkSkape, and some more.

I only ask because i dont use photoshop, and i would like to enter this contest

Regarding SVG... Im sorry, but I think photoshop/illustrator compatible formats are a must, unless of course they can convert SVG?

I dont thitnk this is along the right lines, they are looking for something that is like the fair trade logo, ie could appear on packaging and is kinda subtle. I think this is too bold and the user of the person with the $ doesnt meet the requirements.

Yule: Thanks for the effort, Im not sure it fits in with what the program is about as it appears to abstract and the colours are too "agressive", thanks for your effort though.

NameMaker: I like what you were trying to do with the tick (which would symbolise approval), but ticks have been overused in many logos, so I dont think its suitable here. Again, thanks for the effort and taking the time.

Please feel free to submit any new or revised concepts guys.

Hi,
I like what you were trying to do with the hands, but I dont think this logo works. It doesnt look as professional or iconic as I think it should.

This is a logo that will eventually appear on boxes etc, so it has to have a certain look about it that I feel is missing here.

To be honest when I first saw it I thought "what the heck is that?", it was only after a while that i noticed the two people.

I think thats a good effect, to have an image hidden within an image, but Im not sure it works well with this version, but I think you are moving roughly in the right direction.

For future reference, can people please also post smaller versions (say 100 pixels high) so I can get an idea of how the design scales down.
