Size Requirements : Undetermined; needs to be used as a website logo, and printed on letterheads and business cards.

General Requirements : I am looking for a logo for "TotalSpace(dot)Com", which will be a space information site. Even though the site will cover all aspects of space, it will specializing in space tourism. What I am looking for in the logo is that it's brand-able, professional, and that it is modern looking.

Also, if it needs to be said, "please, no stock photos". Having 100% of the rights for the logo is imperative.

do you like the shuttle? would you prefer no shuttle and more a stylized letter?

I can't say for sure about the stylized lettering, but I definitely am avoiding the shuttle, as they are old and retired...

Zynge, would you be willing to try to fit this design into a square shape, meaning putting "Total" above "Space". Then add a small ".com" toward the bottom. If this doesn't come out good, I'd still like to see this original design with a small ".com" below "Space". Thank you...

Sorry Ive not been in touch, but I've had a few issues with my pc, which has caused crashes at vital moments in producing an update.

Webmango, the dark one looks very good. I wonder if you are able to make the big blue planet look more earthly..? There are some nice images in google under the search term "earth from space", but I don't know if using those images will cause rights issues. If it does, possibly an image of a globe? Also, try making the gold border a shade darker and shiny, if possible. It looks very good though. Thank you for your efforts.

Zynge, I would still like to see modifications to your design. Your and Webmango's images are the most interesting to me, as of now.

Please note where you got this public domain image from so we can check the licensing of it.

ASSUMING the image is truly in the public domain before adopting it as a trademark (In a logo) you still must "clear the rights" to use it as a trademark (in a logo). Some other company may already be using it -- or one confusingly similar -- as a mark to brand its goods or services or to name its company. To clear the rights, you need to hire a trademark attorney to conduct a trademark search and evaluate the results.

Please note that any free or paid stock image (even in public domain) 90% of the time still retains a copyright for the original designers & or photographer which is outlined in the license agreement and stipulates that it may not be used in trademaks / brands / logos.

If you could please provide the source so we can check for licensing restrictions that would be great.

Thanks for the information Eric.

In light of this, I will create a new unique image to use in the logo.

Given the relative complexity of the graphic, it may take a little longer to produce, so patience on behalf of the contest holder, and the NP moderators would be very much appreciated.
