Here are the specs:

DataDuplex.com

Logo must have data duplex or dataduplex.com in it.

The business is for copying data and website backups.

Duplex (in the US) is a home that is divided into two, so two families can live in it. Duplex also means to copy.

Logo must be professional, no cartoonish looking stuff. No taglines please.

As you can see, something simple. It would be nice if the business concept was apparent.

File should be in the appropriate formats, vector, and should use "hosting" blues and greens for color.

This contest ends Friday, August 4th at 6PM CST (US). If by chance I am out of town on that date, then I will be back ASAP. I have the right to extend the contest or to cancel it on that date if i do not see something i like!

Here is my submission. After reviewing the collection of logo's that you shared with us I realized that you want a logo where the mark (symbol, mascot, etc.) is closely tied in with the copy (text and such). I decided to create a mark which is located in the middle of the copy without breaking the flow but at the same time standing out as recognizable. This could be used as a favicon or in another medium besides this logo. That I will leave completely up to you however. Enjoy your new logo!
