Hello,

This time I need a logo for an upcoming site. The domain name is ZoneScripts.com.
The site will provide domain-related services, DNS, name monitoring, backorders, name intelligence and data mining etc. A bit like domaintools but different services.

Size Requirements (roughly):
height. 100px
width. 250px

Deliverable: logo in GIF/PNG format + raw source files (photoshop / coreldraw etc)

Color Requirements:
red, black, white (at least 2 of these 3 colors should be used)


Design guidelines

I am looking for a logo similar to domaintools.com (but not too similar of course).

Addtional guidelines: 'zone scripts' should be embedded in text within the logo (in 2 words it's OK).
To give you an idea the following objects could also be embedded in the design: a web, a spider, a magnifier.

Remember that I will require the raw source files of your work (Photoshop or other).

Here we go. Not so round fonts, and a new image to brand your website. at first glance this looks like cleverly drawn arrows, pointing in opposing directions. But invert your focus and see the letter Z carved out of a pentagon.

dvirhazout: not too fond of the circle logo, looking for something more... web 2.0 ?
gio~logist: I don't really like the logo (boomerang style)
outphasen: nice logo. I like the 'web 2.0 style'
hs143no: font OK, good colors however the logo on the left is not truly to my liking...
AdrianMatte: not bad but I'm not too convinced by the arrows form
Tieskevo: the last logo is good imo
Rabda: nice try but not truly what I am after (the arrows are not really what I would expect, the rest is OK)

Sorry I may have missed something.
Last logo is not bad, I like the shades of black to red. Instead of the ZS to the left I would rather see a more elaborate figure (see for example samples by i_luv_pitza or outphasen)

IMHO, you made the right choice. I would have chosen outphasen's logo from all the submissions.

However, I did like discented's ZS and I liked the font in Adrian Matte's logo, but all in all it had to go to outphasen.
