LLLL.US vs. LLLLL.com

I am wondering what would be better to invest between 4 letter .US or 5 letter .COM.

Is LLLL.us better than LLLLL.com? or

Is LLLLL.com better than LLLL.us?

IMO, you are talking about a long term investment to see any significant return on either of these. But if I was going to make a investment in either, I would go with .com

1) First of all, it depends on good (key)word(s);

2) If the (key)word(s)'s sense is similar, please take .Com as almost all people do.

I agree that it will be quite awhile before either of those domain-types have any value, unless they are premium letter combos.
There are many more 5-letter combos than there are 4-letter ones. That could give the LLLL.us names a little more value in the future.

I would default to a LLLLL.com. However, unless the domain was brandable or was an acronym (although there aren't too many 5L acronyms), the .com doesn't have any value. Of course, if you can pick up a great LLLL.us like FOOD.us--that would be a great buy.
