Not bad. I've noticed almost ALL 4 letter .coms dropping lately are being registered in less than 2 days.

i think for premium letters to sell high , have to wait for end users but its worth the wait coz u can easily sell for 1k at least if u meet the right one.
otherwise minimum $20 fordomainers sales..
but its hard to determine sometime ..a lot ppl say its reg fee because it may be junk to them BUT remember it can be other ppl treasure as well.. hehe

What do you define as "premium"? I see this word used like candy more and more. Just because they are four letters and dotcom doesn't make it worth the reg and if they're registered in a day or two after dropping from a prior registration only means that someone like you gave the registrar some money to have it anchored for another year.

I wouldn't have registered any of these. Sure, you might find someone to give you low $xx for one or two--but a sale of one for that price isn't a wise business move unless you've got some money to have fun on and let them expire next year because you receive little traffic and little to no offers. Any name can be junk to somebody and treasure to others, but that's a risky way to go about spending money.

Resell value around low XX, IMHO.

All the best,

All that has been said here is true. The names you have are meaningless and valueless due to the number still available. The fact that they are 'premium' letters makes it supposedly more likely that they will form the acronym for a long-named corporation. This is essentially where their value lies- they are like a lottery ticket with a slim chance that you may have got the one that fits a rich man/woman/company's requirements perfectly, but to anybody else they have no real value. There are various acronym checkers on the net and this might be the best place to start looking for any prospective buyers. Best of luck!

1. I did not register. I purchased them.
2. Seems like you are not aware about the LLLLs
3. Premium = No q/w/y/u/j/z/x/v

Actually, I am aware of what is called LLLLs and I'm not new to the domain industry. If you purchased them, then that means you spent more than reg fee, right? I think you wasted money.

Premium? I don't think so.

Wasted my money? I'm not new to the business either and I wouldn't buy something if I knew would not be worth regfee.

And as far as saying they don't mean anything, you should use some cronym checkers ;)

You're the one who posted these for appraisal, right? I thought so. People buy things all the time that isn't worth what they think it is to others. If you don't like what I'm saying, then perhaps you should have somebody appraise these for whatever makes you feel good.

Premium letters have a significantly higher probability of the domain being used as an acronym. Premium letter domains therefore have a higher chance of a $XXXX sale than non premium letter domains. However, if your interested in a medium to high $XX sale I think you would have an better chance with ipbu.com.

Personally I put letters in 5 categories:
q - horrible
w/y/u/j/z/x/v - non premium
d/e/m/i/t - premium+ letters
s/c/a - premium++ letters
the rest - premium letters

s/c/a/d/e/m/i/t have significantly higher probabilities of being used as acronyms and I think they should be in seperate categories.

Because mnfd has 2 premium+ letters, I consider it the best. However the premium letter domains would only be worth low $XX at the moment.

Good luck with them! - I think you'll easily make a profit on the premium letters considering you got them so cheap :hehe: - maybe I should have held onto them :)

I'm holding a few 4 letter .coms too. I think they will increase in value soon enough even if the letters don't mean anything. Look at 3 letter values.

All are worth registration fee except IPBU.com, which could be used for an Invision Power Board resource website. I've never been a fan of random LLLL.com domains. Say what you want about "premium" letters, but four random letters are four random letters. There are too many to ever hold value, and they'll never catch on as LLLL.com domains, only pronouncable and brandable "fake words".

True but what are random letters to one person may not be to someone else.. So called premium letters are just more common and are therefore more likely to be worth something to someone. BTW the premium LLLL.com etab.com drops on the 15th May - that's probably one random set of letters that you'd pay more than regfee for.. :hehe:
