LLLL.com traffic increase, NameDrive

Hey everyone.


Has anyone else noticed an increase in traffic on their LLLL.com's?

All of mine have received alot of traffice latley.

But some are wierd in that one day I'll get like 70 hits and then only 2 the next day.


Take for instance my domain name KTJG .com, It usually gets around 5-20 hits per month, slowly increasing each month. But yesterday it got 73 hits and when I look at the details of "user search", just for November I get this:

Why is that list so diverse? And why so many hits in one day. Also in the list of "User Searches" there are check marks beside each term? Can anyone tell me what the checks are for?

yes, same here. I'm scratching my head about my own EUWJ dot com parked at Sedo for just a few weeks, little or no daily traffic - then a few days ago pops up with $7 in revenue from 50% CTR on 67 uniques all from Canada ... personally I suspect it may be a glitch in Sedo's system or some other net wierdness, really doesn't make much sense on the face of it. Sure would like to understand this better - I could do with a few more "reg fee per day" LLLL.com flukes in my portfolio!

Unfortunetly my few domains that got around 70 views in one day (different days) only got a few clicks and only made me like 1.00 total. But hey, every penny counts

I wonder if it has anything to do with all the scan people are running to see if there are any left available?

scans make sense - seems reasonable that people trying to assess LLLL aftermarket potential would be interested to know how many sites are developed vs. parked vs. not resolving at all.

trying to understand the fluke clicks though. A few possible explanations come to mind but not the sort of thing I'm inclined to speculate too glibly about - worth looking into a bit more before running off at the mouth about click fraud etc ...

I believe it's the scans. As for the clicks... no idea.

Same here, My LLLL at Fab have been seeing a good amount of impressions,uniques and a few clicks.

Fresh LLLL reg within 4 hours of placing it at namedrive 72 views on Nov 2, one click, 0 views since.
It had me scrambling to figure out where the traffic was from, then the voice of reason stepped in (I hate that guy) in & said "give it a few days it has to be scan related."
