Definitely buy it, assuming the letters are somewhat brandable (hard not to be with an LL.com). Some LLL.com names sell for $40,000+ and LL.coms are extremely rare. There are only 676 different combinations for LL.com domain names, yet there are billions of websites on the Internet today. You can easily make $10k+ profit on this name if you have the time and resources to sell it.
I have the money now, but the question is how easy will it be to sell it for profit in short time...
looking at Sedo seems like all LL.com are set at minimum price of 100k..
I'll second what Robert has to say. Don't sell your car or take out a loan, but if you have the money, the a good LL.com is worth it. I would say you should be able to easily make the investment worth it.
Don't expect a quick flip on these. Yes they're rare and valuable but they don't sell everyday - because not everyone has $50K to splash around. You need to be capable of holding for 6-12 months because that's how long it may take to find a buyer at a reasonable profit.
I do not doubt that the answers you have received here are good ones. But before I spent any kind of big money I would put in a lot of time learning the market. Granted that is no guarantee of success, and granted for some people their time is worth more elsewhere.
I guess my Scottish heritage is showing.
BTW SEDO asking prices are based on wild dreams - that includes most of mine.
