A suggestion: You might want to put add to expiry date the following: dd/mm/year. Particularly because most people think of dates as mm/dd/year but your script works in dd/mm/year.

ok well here a simple preview how it all looks

http://www.retailgains.com/znpgeek/img/1.gif

index page ;) - add and track page

http://www.retailgains.com/znpgeek/img/2.gif

the add page. Add your domain + info

when submitted

http://www.retailgains.com/znpgeek/img/4.gif
you will get a unique 25 chars key

with using that key you can check your domain status.
sold / not sold
buyer / price etc..

also soon a option to delete the domain if its NOT SOLD yet !

----------------------------------------------

Now the admin backend:

its "simple" but expanding it with new features every hour :P

http://www.retailgains.com/znpgeek/img/6.gif

login using the admin user/pass

admin index , preview of all domains listed + info.
+ statistics of how many domains in total / sold / unsold
http://www.retailgains.com/znpgeek/img/7.gif

A domain goes in the auction and the auctioneer fills in who wins and price submits, and the next domain follows

http://www.retailgains.com/znpgeek/img/8.gif

and then it gets listed in the SOLD partition.

Why a new system ?

Well the last auction ( yesterday ) was very stressfull for the auctioneer ( i felt it myself ) because of so much data to transfer. paying attention on the auction and at the same time filling info on a txt file about the domain / buyer / price etc...

after i became an auctioneer i thought it would be allright. but then i had over 14 PM windows open with new domain auction request and some people had to take over the auction while i was tryin to list the domains.

after that i was kinda stressed so i took a small break. went to RJ and said if he would be interested in a domain auction system.

RJ said he would need something like that he apprecated it that i would do it for him. Later on he would integrate it with NamePros.

1 day later system was developed 90% with some errors and layout fixes over there. since this morning i have been improving the system all the way and many people like ti this way.

Altho there are some limitations added:

1: max 50 domains in que.
( if limit has been reached, you can't add anymore! )
the limit will remove if an domain has been sold.
example:

50 domains, 1 goes to auction, and SOLD!
49 domains left ( 1 open to add to auction )

etc...

2: domain cannot be deleted from the database when its SOLD!

:)

Well thats for it for now. If a mod wants to make a new thread and make it a sticky, your more then welcome to do it.

If you have any questions post in here on the new thread. DONT PM !
