I agree, " linux forum " and " linux forums " both have very low wordtracker scores, the usage of the word " forums " is less desirable, thus I dont see it getting many type-ins, if any it would prob. be to the singular...

The only problem is there is no MONEY in linux. Thats kind of the point of the OSC. So who is going to pony up $X,XXX for a free operating system forum?

Umm....sorry but you really must not have a clue. RHAT (Red Hat Inc) has a market cap of almost 3 Billion. Here let's do it with the zeros.

$3,000,000,000 <-- is that no money to you?

That's also just one company. I think Oracle does tremendous Linux income as well.

A lot of companies make a lot of money selling Linux support and development, and Linux-based platforms (IBM springs to mind). Bear in mind that well over half the world's websites run on linux (and 70% on Apache), including this one :). It also has considerable penetration in the supercomputer market, scientific and mathematical computing, the games development industry (development for PS2 is generally done on Linux, for example) and, in Europe, some government office machines.
