So people are buying misspellings in .link (of all extensions) and names available in .com for reg fee.

Hawkeye besides all the drop shipping links, Anniversarypics is available for reg fee in the good extension.

And what will you be doing with a typo of "blogger," which has been TM'ed by Google (since 2005)?

You might want to consider grace deleting this one.

*

Blogger is no more of a valid trademark than green, apple, website, blue, paper, etc. are valid trademarks.

If someone trademarks "bloger.link" or "bloggers.link" then yes, there would be an issue. Or if Google had Bloggers brand shoes and I sold shoes on bloggers.link, there would be an issue. This is not an issue here.

If you still disagree, please, do feel free to notify Google of this: I would love for them to contact me. They can't enforce "blogger" any more than Nike can enforce the trademark "runner".

Well, except that you just admitted why you bought the domain.

If there's even a .01% chance Google will promote blogger.link, then it's worth going for bloger.link. Common domainer sense.

And there is no reason to promote it when they have the well known .com. More defensive, just forward it type deal is more likely.

Do you really think Google's legal team is going to care about this mickey mouse forum? lol Please, I beg you... send them the link to this forum.

I can see how blogger.com or 1-800-blogger can be trademarked and protected, but not just "blogger" all by itself, no, not anymore than "runner" can be trademarked and protected form every use.

I regged blogger.link before Google did; they convinced unireg to get it before GA. I regged bloggers.link, so I think bloger.link is a good sister domain.

Send a link? It's not like Google is a search engine or anything and crawls the web. You're already on page 1

https://www.google.com/search?q=blo...="bloger.link"&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official

Passing on a .com for a .link, great strategy.

You love it too, it's why in your short time here, you're on your 4th different domain for your main site. .com ---> .eco --------> .ventures ------> and now back with the winner .com again. I saw some hope in your recent posts, then saw 30 .link regs and trying to grab some shine off yet another company's work and brand/trademark. But good luck nonetheless.

Yeah, we've been there done that before. The song remains the same. Que sera.. I now just turn off the noise. We all see what we want to see.. and have decisions to make when the roads well traveled come upon new crossroads. They may or may not lead somewhere, but this time they have signs and are well paved, so for me... nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Same price either way, so why not? Fun to try something 'new'. Just may lead to something. :$:
