Just goes to show - no matter who they are, who they know, or how much money they're supposed to have, a deal isn't done until they money - all of it - is in your hands.

If the seller gave up control of the domain for a promise of payments though should get their head checked. If a buyer can't come up with the money or a loan then the domain stays in your control until the last dime clears.

Lil Wayne's got over $100,000 in his mouth. I'm sure YMCMB will pull together the rest of the cash once they see the potential severity of the situation.

Or just hand register YoungMoney.XYZ (for free or next to nothing), promote it like Fiddy, and actually use it. There's a dream for the .XYZ visionaries! :D

Register it before it's too late and sell it to the rapper for 10% of what he bought the .com for!*
* Just hope he doesn't default on payment.
