I think he could potentially be smarter than people give him credit for.

Obviously he could have chosen any number of names.

I saw this a couple days ago and also thought it was cool... kinda long domain name, but .TV I also submitted a question to the radio show so hopefully it will get answered. On another note, my best friend just registered his first .tv names and went nuts... he got like four of them but reg'd for 10 years each with privacy protect!

For a guy in the domain biz he picked a lousy domain name. Why not BobParsons.tv or BobParsonsOn.tv etc etc Or better yet he should buy one in the aftermarket.

It is great to see him using .tv,Bob Parsons and GD have been instrumental in the rising popularity of .tv in the last few weeks,

I posted this a few weeks ago, http://www.namepros.com/dot-tv/357076-bob-parsons-tv.html but its great to see it being highlighted again, i suspect there are many new members who have joined the .tv forum since it was last posted and have not seen it.

There can never be to much good news where .tv is concerned!

Fully agree, people like him do these things with a reason, he likes people to think that "if Bob Parsons already takes such a long name, I will do fine with my even shorter visitjohnonline.tv and will reg it now for only $9.99 before it's gone".

actully i dont think it has anything to do with helping .tv- bob likes to see bobs name in lights- BobParsons.com, lifeonlinewithBobParsons.tv- he even trademarked his name the end of '06- he is branding his name folks- the tv was a nice touch, but its alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll about bob
