Length or continuity

I am thinking of developing a couple of .info's but I had a question of which to begin with.

My plan is to develop a site outlying interval training as it pertains to fitness. I own both intervals.info and intervaltraining.info. My first thought is to stick with the shorter domain name. But I expect to also develop resistancetraining.info in the near future. Would it be better to have some continuity between the names (ie. xxxxtraining.info) or just have two seperate domains. They will link to each other, and whatever domain I do not choose will still be directed to the one that I do go with.

Thanks.

go with the training names, intervals on its own does not mean too much

Shorter does not always equal better. When a 2 or 3 word name clearly states what a site is about, and a 1-word name does not, you're almost always better off with the longer version. "Intervals" says nothing about the site. "IntervalTraining" immediately paints a picture in the user's mind, thus making it more memorable.
