Hi

I recently regged
virtualizationmanager.com
+
virtualizationmanagers.com

I see that
EMC/VMware
IBM Virtualization Manager 1.2
HP Integrity Essentials Virtualization Manager
BladeLogic Virtualization Manager
3 Leaf Systems

All use the term Virtualization Manager/s for there systems.
I presumed seen as they all use the term it would not be a TM problem and be a generic phrase but some have said otherwise.

Can anyone clafify the situation for me?

If they have a TM you could lose in UDRP. Or maybe you could win...

That is as much clarification you can get.

If you dont infringe on there TM rights then you could be ok, although they all use the name somewhere in there domain, its specific to there trade field, becareful and dont park the name, develop it if possible.

Have you done a TM lookup? IMHO is is a fairly generic/descriptive term, and would be tough to TM, especially given that so many major players use it in their product names.

If the term is TM'ed somehow, then be very careful... maybe make a site that is a reviews style site for them, and definitely don't park it. Dev is your best option here with or without TM, imho.

though a descriptive argument can be had, if you have ads for IBM virtualizatin manager or Hp or others that use the term, that could be treading on thin ice.
