Language changes

Anyone know of any script that would turn english to a pre-selected language without me acually writing the page in the language or something simular that would do the trick.

gee buddy, one way or another, ure gunna have to do some werk although youn will not actually be doing the translating. Go to www.systranbox.com and use there translator. i think it will actually translate the entire website for yu, but i suggest just copy and pasting the text you want translated, and then ya know... you will have to have separate pages for ech language.. english, spanish, dutch, ect.

maybe i can acually make a script that would convert english to a selected language but i would have to have every language dictonary and write word for word. its possible to do but a ton of work and may draw back some sql usage. Ill give it a try one day, got many things to do so if i do attempt it, it would be like next year.

Then again could use XML files still thats alot of dictionary and work load. If i do attempt it ill probly post a msg here with the script for all you's.

I have tried working with online translators. They are not very reliable. You could probably convey your message better with graphics than with inaccurate and often humorous translations.

My questionnaire was published in 8 languages. But fortunately I found people in 8 countries who were willing to devote a tremendous amount of time and effort to the task - and with no monetary compensation.

Even after I received their translations, I still had to format them because several of the translators did not know HTML. This project took well over a year to complete.

I don't think there is a standard script that does the translation.Each site is different and therefore need specific translation suited to it.

Google can translate for you I think. Just copy the HTML from the page it returns.
