Does anyone know if .ky can be registered at places like 101domain per the new rules or is it a monoply for Uniregistry?

You can register them at 101 & espace2001 that I know of.

espace2001 is about the same price as Uni, but I have never used them so I have no idea what they are like.

101 is high for those though.

101 still shows doc's required, so I guess I'm wondering with the global opening up of .ky is this all registries or just Uniregistry. I have a ticket in at 101 but thought maybe someone had reged one elsewhere today.

They are probably just behind in getting everything updated. Hopefully they'll sort it out for you.

101domains is registering .ky to anyone now, the one I tried for was denied although it said available. Be sure and check Whois first, I nornally do but didn't last night.

Seems like they have a lot of them reserved, not sure why it's not new..

Now as soon as they open up the .tn's you'll have that area locked up.

I'm sure they will one of these, as soon as they realize the amount of money they can make off of reg's like these other registries are realizing.

Some warning: I have many .al names that could be used for Alabama, emailed quite a few people but no $erious people were interested.

edited to add: But still, register main cities and a few keywords. You never know and if you live there these are great extensions. If I lived in Alabama, I'd develop Birmingham.al for example
