Killerz-Tech New Design

hey Guys

I have been working on www.killerz-tech.net and i have done the following....

1. Changed Design a bit and added more stuff
2. Now have added a Hits out in Affliates
3. Changed from Phpbb to IPB
4. Cleaned up Forum a bit
5. cleaned up affliates list who wernt linking back

Soon 2 come.

1. More games in arcade Plently more.
2. a hell of alot more downloads(Only problem is dam dialup takes so long)
3. Am thinking of adding Image Hosting

Any suggestions are welcome and tell me what you think of site smile.gif

This is nice and clean, but the left/right panels are too small, I would suggest increasing the width a bit on right/left panels.

I think the homepage needs to let people know what the site is for. I like the logo alot it is eye catching, but then I was trying to figure out what exactly the site would do for me.

I agree... the forum colors and logo should be the same. The header is too bare. Keep your logo the same.

Well, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be judging here. I mean you basically just skinned a prebuilt CMS? If that's the case, then the only elements of the design that look to be yours still need some work (read: your header image). My most important suggestion to help with the quality of the header is to give the page a static width to prevent the image from resizing automatically to fit the page's width. You may have to edit the code of the CMS and just add in some simple commands to echo a div tag with a specified width (i.e. <div style="width:x px;"> and </div> ) around the content, but that would be the first step to help.

Best of luck, but typically when you just install a CMS on your server, you're not really designing a website. Rather, you're installing one. And your installation looks fine, just like every other iteration of IPB.

i am quite gd at php not 1 part ios a cms it is all built by me only things that are not mine are the forum and the downloads system the main page and affliate system and all that is built by me it aint hard its just querying stuff from a database Ex.

I totally agree. I don't know what the sit eis for. Maybe you could ad a little slogan under the name in the banner that would explain what the site is for. Or add an explanation in the top section.
