Google Keyword Traffic from Google but not on search listings?

Hi there,

I'm looking into buying a website that is currently for sale.
It is getting 150 uniques a day from Google (4,500 uniques a month).
All the top keywords are getting 100+ uniques a month but when I look for the keyword on Google, the site is not in the top 10 pages, despite analytics saying it is getting traffic every day. Why is this happening and what could explain this?

Would need to see the details to give you an answer, but are they local keywords? You could be seeing geographic differences / personalization.

may be you are getting traffic from referrer websites.That's the main reason,Google showing to you the same.

Referrer traffic isn't listed with keywords.

what analytical stats are you viewing?

from the websites' server, google adsense stats or google keyword tool?
