I am new to this forum. So, intro : I am Jeff living in Switzerland.
I have a set of keyword-rich domains which I would like to point to my main website in order to get more search engine results. (I should mention that my main website has not a "visible" "keyword oriented" name which makes it difficult to go out naturally with search engine)
What is the best way to do it ?
1. Point all domains to the main website using 301 permanent redirections ?
2. Redirect (301) all domains to a "master" domain being redirect (301) itself to the main website ? (I have read that this is better tolerated by search engine than 1.)
3. Develop mini-websites for each domain (kind of "sales-landind" page) and have some natural "manual" links to the main website all along the content ?
What happens in case of 301 redirections ? Does the "parent" domain inherit from the "son" website ranking or the other way around ?
What happens in the case of mini-websites strategy ? (I fear those sites will be ranked very low and never "get out" of search engines either and thus not helping the main website)
Any other ideas to valuate those keyword-rich domains ?
