With only seven days to go before elections, the campaign trail is heating up with thunder and lightning between the Adminstration and Senator John Kerry.

Tuesday, the White House and Democratic Senator John Kerry traded harsh words and accusations as President Bush accused the Senator of “troop bashing” while Kerry opined the president’s men were “willing to lie”.

Yep, politics is now in full swing ... but, then again, look at the current price of gas versus even just a few short weeks ago - perhaps it's been in play all along? :| :imho:

Enjoy the ride ... :snaphappy:

Kerry needs to stay at home and shut up.
He has nothing to add to the campaign.
He's a "junior" senator with no significance other than to act as a lighting rod for the republicans.

He will probably do better than George Bush having experienced the war before.

Maybe we should stop making the President have to be old enough to have white hair and start thinking about younger more active and caring about the young. Since your kids our the future. They should be in better care than the older ones.

Don't take that the wrong way. Just my thought.

Whether or not he could do better than Bush is irrelavent.
At this moment we are facing a mid-term election, not a presidential election.
Kerry getting his face in front of the cameras and acting like an idiot is not productive for the democrats.

I don't support Kerry, but everyone has to admit...he is better than Gore.

I mean, Gore did invent the internet and all...

yes he is, but after bush defeated him, he quit that chapter in his life for good, so he basically excused himself from that political game. Kerry is way smarter than Bush and could easily be doing a better job than Bush. i'm not saying kerry is that great a potential president either. i think he lacks some charisma and other problems, but he would be doing a way b etter job than bush is doing now.

Ugh.. I seriously think Bush "stole" the election.. it was no defeat for Gore.

Kerry will never have the charisma I'd require to see him as a viable candidate, let alone president. Ability and intelligence are one thing and the ability to present yourself as a "regular guy" I can relate to are another.. even Bush seems infinitely more approachable.

Regardless of this opinion. Even if you feel you are in the right. One must understand that The President of the United States is the Commander in Chief not a US Senator. And may know more about a political hot spot.

This may be here nor there.

But here is a statement made by the soldiers in Iraq asking for Kerry's help for their uneducated little ole selfs.
