It sounds more like kanoodle.com. Besides google is a dictionary word that means 1 with 100 zeros how can they get a trademark for a dictionary word.

google is very protective when it comes to there trademark
especially when its used to make money.

i dont see any value in those 50 uniques a month either as thats just under 2 unique visits a day..

i dont see anyone wanting this domain even for the registration fee

Well considering that you could try to ruin them by registering names with their trademark, I think what they do is justifiable.

Well, If i would like to do a fan site or a site such as googlesucks.com then i dont think that google would have a right to intervene in my freedom of speech. Compusa went to court for Compusasucks.com and lost because the domain was used to voice peoples disgruntled debates on compusa.

You could always write to Google and ask for permission to use it, but keep in mind that there's a risk that they could sue you for just having the name. It's not likely that they'd that, but it could happen. Most likely they'd just ask that you transfer the name to them

Most registrars will refund your name within a week.

Google will not let you have this one, I can guarantee you that. Get rid of it as soon as you can.
