Could be used to let people say what company shares they just bought and in what quantity and why they bought. Could be used in many other applications as well obviously.

low $xx undeveloped. My suggestion - develop a website that tracks corporate take-overs. I know this would be useful on a number of levels if you were able to do this successfully. Example: You own a product from Company X and bought it last year... now you want to get in contact with them regarding this product, but they are nowhere to be found. Check JustBought.com and find out that Company X is now a subsideary (sp?) of Company ABC.

Might be a heavy task to track takeovers on a daily basis though.

Thanks for your idea Ryan, and thanks to the rest of the members who posted their comments and appraisals. Insofar as your idea Ryan, I like it, but with a slightly different twist if I may. Instead of the site's goal being to serve people who are looking for info or service for products they previously purchased, JustBought.com would do just as you have suggested, track takeovers, but the clientele would be the business community itself. In other words, a print shop in Pittsburgh would be interested in being alerted whenever there are takeovers or buyouts of other printshops in the US.

Any thoughts, comments or other ideas would be appreciated.
