Just got my tickets

i've never been to a concert and i finally got my tickets today for parkway drive.
anyway heres the cards i got as the tickets (you swipe them) (also i purchased one for a friend)
hopefully in 1-2months i'll be in the moshpit with everyone :lol:

I have never had swipe tickets before only the normal card/paper type tickets. Only time there were no normal tickets was when it was a ticketless system, you had to give your name and address on the door along with the last digits on the card that a paid (pretty much like you do when you are picking up from a box office)

When you go to the concert pace yourself especially in the mosh pit, it can get somewhat mad.

your first concert? have a good one, don't get so drunk you don't remember it, stick close to your friend, and watch out in the mosh.

the meanest moshes i've been in:

acdc (full of biker gangs beating people up)

pennywise (they threatened to walk off stage unless the mosh circles went crazy)

conversely, all the pantera and slayer concerts i've been too have had extremely good natured crowds :D

I only got a card because i don't have a credit card and they wanted us to carry the cc on the night.

The tickets were pretty cheap. cost $22.50 each (i had to pay a extra 3.50 for the card)

Its going to be pretty insane. Going to go stay at my cousins after the concert then try get home :lol:

That is cheap, most concerts here in the UK that I go too are roughly £18 ($43 AUD)

after watching afew of the mosh videos they've got i probably wont be coming straight back :lol:

They sound reasonably heavy so you should be in for some good moshing

Tickets in the US are always expensive, tickets are normally $12-15 for the medium sized bands like the one you're going to see, and $25 odd for the bigger bands. (and like stupid amounts of money for bands like Metallica and Maiden)

I have never seen swipe cards like that before. I wonder if anyone has ever hacked them. Are the cards taken away after being used or can you keep them and bring them home?

I never seen a swipe tickets before and It would be nice if you can recycle those tickets instead of tearing them and get thrown in the trash.
