I've received several offers via email, on NP, and through other venues recently.

What do you think it's worth? How would you develop it?

Thanks

Well, I don't want to generalize with the .me, but just note that the names you mentioned above only hugg.me is developed and not the others which in my opinion is a signal that the .me don't go too well with those or nor ideal at all

That's not the case with .me only but probably some people are unable to look beyond .com, no matter how many success stories they are told on a daily basis. :]

Let me first say, thank you for your appraisal; however, I'm not quite sure what point you are trying to make here.

That for some names the .me is not a good option

..if some people pay "high amounts" for domains that you think "dont fit" - then maybe they do fit but you just dont see they do... or they are all plain wrong? :)

Well, I think the .me doesn't fit for some names, so some people think differently or just had not other option

all names i asked you about if they fit .me better than "junk" were sold on sedo recently (and many more) well above $1,000.
you dont need to repeat over and over that any domain is better in .com - we all already know that.
i was trying to figure out why you think "junk" is a worse fit compared to other (sold) .me names, not why it's less valuable than .com or .net

thank you

*

Well, I just said that the .me didn't fit with junk, and didn't say that is a worse fit than the others, for that case I said I don't think fits with the extension but the price I said could be of course discussed whether accurate or not but this a different story. I understand that people that can't own the ideal extension could opt for a non ideal domain so what I mean is probably I was low if people want a domain with the word "junk" and can't own the ideal extensions

Comparable Sales:
Junk.net sold for $3,800 in December of 2008 and sold again for $4,000 in April of 2009.

Junk.us sold for $1,595 in November 2005 and sold again for $1,395 in August of 2011.

I'd say it's worth as high as $1,250 to an enduser, and under $500 to another domainer.

This post says it all there isn't much to add except you asked how to develop - i wouldn't. I'd go straight for resale. It'll probably pull in a few bucks.

If you do develop, i would actually go in a different direction than a cloud storage site, because of the .me at the end. Make good use of it - a junking or haul away service would love this site over the .com variant.
