We have an immediate need for a Junior PHP Programmer to join development team. You will work closely with the Senior Producer and other web developers to build interactive web-based media and applications on the LAMP platform. This is not a high-level position and does not require you to have extensive development experience. The ideal candidate has some experience building websites from scratch but is looking to gain further insight and experience in web development and programming. This is an entry-level position and would be most suitable for someone who exhibits a strong desire to learn more about enterprise level web development, a good work ethic, and a solid grasp of PHP programming basics.
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:
• At least 1 year of experience in PHP/MySQL programming for the Web.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML (hand-coding), JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, XML and other web technologies and protocols.
• Desire to learn and advance as a PHP programmer.
• Some experience with Flash, ActionScript, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Unix is desirable.
