I would be grateful for any advice on the possible end user sale price if this dot com domain:-

JPEGformat (dot) com

I thought it might make a good digital imaging website.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Excellent clear name for a widely-known process/compression.
Even undeveloped, some value to resellers, maybe:
high xx or low xxx.

It's not an EXCITING name, but is ideally descriptive; if this was developed as a site for all information about jpegs... history, how-it-works, basically an info site for anyone referencing anything about jpegs... even I would visit that to get questions answered. End user might pay well, since this name is second only to jpeg.com for anything-jpeg. Without dev, end user should see paying low - mid xxx for this, more if they're realy hot for the usage;
But it seems this would be an easy site to dev since there's so much available info to draw from, and once you get a lot of nice cross-referencing and some relevant affiliate links, I think you could get a lot of traffic to this kind of site and really boost your price. Top notch as a very focused niche site name for jpeg info.

Its a nice domain. Even undeveloped you may be able to pick up mid xx for someone wishing to start an information site. Maybe you should develop it up as i think it would be good to provide information about JPEG images and why they are so widely used/known.

Undeveloped: low-mid $xx
Developed: low $xxx +

As Bannen said it's not an exciting name but there are possibilities.
IMO it could be developed into a site for coders with a focus on image processing and graphics routines etc.
Another possibility would be picture editing software (ie. target owners of digital cameras).
I don't think you should expect a strong resale value but prospects for development are good.
