One of the greatest coaches in NFL history (back-to-back World Champs with Dallas Cowboys) and also College football (National champs with Miami). Now he's an announcer for FOX sports NFL TV show. No doubt, football fans like myself know him well, but I'm not sure about the average person on the streets.

To me personally, being a Cowboys fan, and a fan of the game, the name holds significance. I think replies from other people here will give a sampling of how well he is known outside the football world, and can help determine the value. Wait for some more appraisals to see what happens.

I'm shocked that the real former NFL coach Jimmy Johnson doesn't already own it. How did he drop the ball? No phun intended.

You'd probably have a better shot at selling it to NASCAR's Jimmie Johnson than to the NFL's Jimmy Johnson. I'm sure it is a very common mispelling for people searching for the NASCAR driver. Do you have stats on the page to see how many direct url entries are hitting that page? I'm thinking more people are looking for Jimmie than are Jimmy. If so, you might have a source of highly targeted NASCAR fan traffic. You could approach the sale from a different angle. If you don't mind, how many hits a month is the landing page taking?

Decent name with good resale potential. To be sure there's no URDP decision that goes against you, put up some kind of Jimmy Johnson, the football coach, fan site up. The name wouldn't be applicable to the race car driver Johnson: According to Lowesracing.com, he spells his name "Jimmie". So how famous are the other Johnsons, don't know. The name is pretty popular though. Definintely a keeper. I'd value it between $250 and $1,000, depending on who is buying.
