I'm not sure what your point is. Are you saying that you think it would be better to register Talkingnetwork.com rather than TalkNet.com, or are you suggesting that Talkingnetwork.com would have the same value as TalkNet.com?
Of course in a deveoped site content is essential. The quality of the content and service or product that is offered serves to enhance the value as you are then selling a business not just a domain name address.
Respecting the domain name alone, I think there is far more value in a short to the point name.
