Thanks for the feedback, but I really think you're wrong about that. There are lots of Jewish newspapers and mags in the U.S. and very few, if any, have the word "Judaism" in the title...

I think what he was suggesting is that "jewishtoday" sounds like you might not be jewish tomorrow. All the above examples are things that can be Jewish - Advocate, Chronicle, Journal, etc. Today is not exclusively "Jewish". JewToday or JewsToday or TodaysJew or TodayJews or JewishNewsToday would all be better options IMO.

I appreciate the feedback. But all of those domains you mentioned in my opinion would be much worse. "Jewish" is the main keyword. I think "Jewish Today" sounds very much like a magazine title. Also, "Jew" and "Jews" are used more often than the word "Jewish" in a derogatory way.

Yes, for a newspaper it would be better to say Jewish Today... but we're talking about a domain name here, not a newspaper.

I think that JudaismToday.com would be 5x better. The site could talk about today's judaism laws, beliefs, etc. JewishToday doesn't make as much sense

Ok, you and others are entitled to your opinions. We'll have to agree to disagree. True, one could do a website focussed on the very religious aspects, but the audience would be very limited. I would rather do a website that dealt with "Jewish" news and culture and forums and dating... for which I think "Jewish" is an infinitely better choice than "Judaism".
