Javascript to JPEG

A client just requested that I convert something of their's from javascript to JPEG, and I haven't received the files yet, but I'm wondering if I am understanding them correctly.

If so, I should be able to just save the visual as a JPEG file and send it off, but I was wondering if anyone here could know of a more common conversion request, that I'm not understanding from the description.

Maybe you can explain us what was meant ?

What i can imagine is lets say there is some input-field (pos. ajax) where they can insert some name/info which is then posted to perl/php/cgi to create a image(jpg).
Something like banners.
