I registered this domain in 1998. Kept it under wraps until a few months back when I loaded a directory script onto it to give it "life" for the wayback machine.

I'm probably going to use it for a new venture, but thought I'd check on the value as a virgin brand name before I do. Any thought?

Really nice one, David. Welcome to the forum.
These VCVC and the CVCV's are both skyrocketing in value lately, traders are snapping them up and end users are seeing their value as neat, memorable brand names.
Yours could go a few ways, like izzit (is it), i-zit... whatever that means ab out pimples, ha.

But bottom line, it's a neat one. The price spread is hard to call since quite often they get bidded up higher than you'd expect if people really want them... and since these kinds of LLLL are in the limelight right now, just having it for sale will get it seen and get you some bids.
resellers = a minimum of 1K
end users = I think realistically you'll see in the 2 - 4K range, but then, as you'll see, some similar type names are occasionally getting double that or more, so it really depends on who wants to use it and what for.

I disagree with Banned and RCK, those apprasails are higher than current market prices for VCVC.

I have OZUD.com which to me is perfectly pronunciable as well (but not being a native English speaker maybe affects my perception of pronunciability?) and is getting bids at SEDO only for $110 with 2 days left, so I can`t see IZIT.com going for 1K in the reseller market.......few days ago UZUB.com has been sold at SEDO for $650.

this is just my personal opinion ..

i have no recorded past sales or experience to prove this fact but i definately would give preference to repeated letters (vowels or consonants)
