High $x,xxx to the right buyer...might take a little work to find a buyer willing to pay that, but in the end I think it's quite possible.

IVD used to mean interactive video disc, and then later integrated voice and data.
I still think it has merit as a multimedia identity, as media progresses into it's various ubiquitous forms.

It has another possibility in medicine, both with invitro diagnostics (which is emerging with nano technology), as well as perhaps with companies working with spine technology, with intervertebral discs. Or you could perhaps get one of the infusion pump competitors (IV drips) to re-brand.

Or do something completely different, like I'm Very Dysfunctional (IVD.com) and make it a viral social site.

If you exclude the top and bottom sales (39k and 2.2k) your getting an Avg price of 8.2k (approximately). I also happen to think thats about what I would expect, sales value wise for this domain name.

Bare in mind, Pup is pronounceable and has meaning, and I believe the JHW sale was just a fantastic price for the buyer.
