yes, I'm still trying to figure out this new (to me) technology!

Is WiMax the type of service/technology that is going to be left to bigger companies like Verizon/Cingular/and the like or do y'all think smaller companies will be able to cash in on WiMax too??
I've done quite a bit of reading and some articles say only the larger companies will really be able to utilize this new tech.
Thoughts???
