i was just surfing around on search engines when i came across cutemeter.com ... i also noticed it was for sale asking price 2 million dollars , now maybe i have read incorrectly but im pretty sure it was 2 mil. i also noticed it was on sedo but no price is listed just make an offer . the site has somewhat a large amount of members and about 150,000 hits per month , now granted is has many more features than a normal rating site , but i think 2 million is a bit high ... do you ????B-)

Looks like a developed site, depending on membership, verifiable traffic, revenue, projections, etc. it could have some value (I just checked it out quickly and left), but I wouldn't think $2M would be reasonable based on what I saw, IMHO. Remember, that is only an "Asking Price".

definately worth 2 mill if there is solid traffic and revenue. The domain name itself would not really be a factor in this, you are buying the biz more then the name.

They can ask whatever they want for it. Interested buyers would have to consider revenue and traffic levels to see if it's worth it. (I have no idea if it is... )

BTW, I was the original registrant of CuteMeter.com and built the rating scripts for them after selling the domain.

Too funny RJ, I spent about 10 min. rating some girls, some nice ones there, I dont think they will get near that price but without knowing the traffic/revenue its kinda hard to say as mentioned above...

$2 mil is a bit of a stretch.

If you want to see what people in fantasyland look like, you'll browse the domains for sale on ebay. Some of them should quit the crack pipe.

and whats with the charges for 'free' pushes - I thought ebay forbid unreasonable additional charges in their Ts&Cs.

Ah well, I suppose they must get some sales.
