    Hi all
    Newbie here
Do the rules here allow for ,me to mention a domain I have just posted on the Namecheap marketplace. It's a five word .com brandable.

    Thanks in advance
    Jay

the“external market” isnt as populated as NP 1

    Weigh your pros and cons.

You want most eyes here, yes?

I think most populated section here; “Auctions”

Which requires list exclusively, de-list if listed, or at min, make sure no BIN, dont see, stats? Literally says # replies, each NP section, has.

“External Market” not populated, not as viewed

I have a reason for wanting this to sell via Namecheap for this particular domain.

Aren't most of Namecheap marketplace domains buy now, not an auction?

He could also list here in the make offer section if he doesn't want to auction it....

Exactly. It doesnt have to be big thing...

Not worth sacrifice for “NC marketplace” imo Not worth sacrifice to list most “external” here! Just sacrifices too much prospective eyes’ imo

I've never used it myself......can only assume it is a new reg and he thinks he has to list there to push the domain......which as we know is not the case 🙂

As Nick said, list at https://www.namepros.com/forums/external-domain-and-website-sales.162/

For most listings you need to include name of registrar, expiry date, and payment option.

Read the forum rules and see how others do it.

And don't spam other threads with your listings ;)

    Good luck.

I asked the question so I wasnt spamming it and was told in this thread I could post it there, then as soon as I did was told it wasnt allowed. That is why the title of my thread was is this allowed?

All good. I was just giving you a heads up because a lot of new members spam names in unrelated threads.

Why not introduce yourself with a quick introductory post. You can ask some basic questions and get some help from other members.

    Good luck :)

Hi @jjpwright and welcome to NamePros,

As @NickB notes External Sales is the place, but as @Samer notes not many eyes will see it most of the time. You can’t list names at other forums even there, but my understanding registrar marketplaces should be allowed and some are there.

Here is a link to Official Rules of NamePros, often found it hard to find when I was new.

Best wishes with the domain and in general.

    Bob
