Please take a look at eBay Item # 2739237830
0T.NET for sale.
To me it looks like a scam, but I may be wrong (I didn't contact the seller).
Thanks.

just becuase someone has 0 feedback doesnt meen they are a scam, Hey we all started out with 0 feedback right?
how would you feel if everyone and i meen EVERYONE didnt bid on your auctions or took your bid off there auctions so you couldnt get any feedback? you would never get feedback
sometimes you need to do some investigation or take chances
eg: email the seller asking if you can use escrow.com or the seller transfer the name first as you are weary off ebayers with 0 feedback, most of the time they will agree to it if they are a real true ebayer that does legit sales, if not just dont bid , or take the chance.

just my 2 NP$

Nice post DL...sounds logical too me :)
Cheers!

In response to what Mike posted about this second auction, which I have quoted below, I just have to say that I am disgusted by that seller and what he is trying to get away with. The sad part is that the seller has a 100% positive feedback rating! However, checking the feedback more closely, I noticed that all of that seller's feedback comments were acquired from buying and not selling. So apparently that seller has never been a seller before. THAT could definitely be a red flag.
While we're on the topic of eBay scams, I have another story... I'll post it tomorrow after a good night's sleep (it's quite late now!) For now I'll just say that I think I have learned quite a bit about eBay in the past 6 years that I have been a member and I'm happy to share what I know :)

I think this gives a bad reputation to honest domain vendors.....:(

The good news is that ebay has cancelled the auction. Someone must have complained  :hehe:

Hello to all on this forum and thread!

Just want to let you all know that the guy that is selling that domain name 0T.NET is ok in my book :) :)

As the starter of this thread, I apologise to Cornel and welcome him to NamePros.
Hope you sell a lot of names on eBay, but try to get some Feedbacks, and it helps if you add a short description to your auctions.

In any case, I still think that we learned a lot from the thread, as your auction was legit but some aren't.

Ebay is often untrustable. You don't know who you're dealing with. Also, you have no idea what kind of scams the people have pulled in the past. Since your only contact in through e-mail and the such, they can essentially disappear on you, in only a number of a few seconds. Although, if you are indeed audacious enough to use ebay, you can often find a good bargain. So if the price looks right, trust your gut on whether or not it is a scam. Good luck on your purchase, if you do indeed buy. Ebay CAN be worth it. However, as I said, unless you're confident, watch your step, every step. Have fun on ebay!

Where'd you hear that...? I haven't encountered any troubles with ebay, as of yet.

This thread is actually about 2 auctions.
The first one was about 0T.NET and that has been determined that it was NOT a scam, the seller is actually now a member on this forum.
The second one was about this guy pretending to be selling the BMW domain name, when in fact he was selling BMVV.com (with 2 V's), and that one was cancelled by eBay.

That's just stupid. "VV" doesn't even look like a real typed "W".
