i m planning to develop a new website but i am too lazy to make a layout...and i dont know abt copyright issues with free templates so my friend made this simple layout for me...can you tell me wt can be done to make it look better and how it is right now

It's not bad, need more work to improve it, but what is the website about? What is the goal of the website?

the buttons on the side need some work apart from that its okay.

I like it, the fonts need to change but you'd probably be doing that anyway and the 2 parts to the button would look better if they were aligned.

the site will have funny vids and audios {so only media files}

Thats quite nice, it needs a bit of work but its not to bad could be used.
