IRS having issues

Wondering if anyone else is having unusual issues with them this year. I was reading online that paper filers can expect 7 weeks for there return and electronic could be the 21 days pretty much. Something about they cut back on the budget this year so the irs is having to take longer since less employees and there audits on business's and regular returns are gonna be audited way less due to the cuts in the employment payroll and overtime slashed.

(2014) - It may have started mid-last year actually. I had some dealings with them mid year and it took them 3 months to get everything wrapped up. Apparently, only 1 out of 13 IRS Phone reps. knew what they were doing and only 1 face to face IRS office rep. (In person) knew. They may have been filling operator seats with cheaper labor, oblivious to what they were doing.

I see the same IRS as in every year.
It really depends on what office your return goes to.
And Turbo Tax told me that 8 to 14 days I can expect on my efile.

Not necessarily.

I only trust one former IRS tax evasion/prosecuting lawyer (LLM/20 years) and sometimes he doesn't have the answer that's buried in probably more than 72,536 pages by now.

I would expect a call center employee to at least know the same amount of laws in 1913, but more relevant to this date.

Guess that basically answers it expect to wait the maximum time to get an efile return even. heck I filed turbo tax on the 21st i believe and mine says by the 11th.

Will have to check bank tomorrow to see if refund in.
So far, 58% of our customers with federal returns also accepted on February 1 have received their refund.
That is what turbo tax is saying and ours was accepted on feb 1.

Okay, our tax refund is due to be in our bank account the 17th!

Did mine last Thursday at 7:00 A.M. was direct deposited this Thursday before 7:00 A.M. so just under 7 days so mine only took 5 business days and 2 weekend days.

Mine took 6 weeks and was electronic.
